AAPC Coder - Settings and Personalization

Personalized your settings in Coder to fit your specific needs.

Click on the settings wheel in the upper right corner. Click on settings. You can select the way you want to search for codes. Listing Search is the default and what most coders prefer. When you search by listing, you see a list of neighbor codes. You see the codeset subcategory’s full hierarchal listing just like you would see in the codeset’s tabular list. This ensures you see all possible codes in a subcategory.

If you want to go straight from a code search result to the code’s complete info page, select Details Search. This minimizes clicks between code searches, skipping the hierarchal subcategory.

On this same screen you can access your favorite codes and articles.

On the home page of AAPC Coder you have access to your search history. Click the + sign next to History to view the past 10 searches.

Access the publications available to you depending on your subscription by clicking the + sign next to Publications.
