Will a bike chain with ONLY master links even work?

Today, we visit a viewer suggested topic: Can you make a chain with only master links? In this video we use 60 some odd Sram Eagle Power Lock links to create a chain with only master links. Then we install it on a bike to see if it still shifts and operates the same. Enjoy!

My grandad made a wooden, working drivetrain with wooden links, chainring and everything. It wasn't on a bike, just some weird contraption and it was only a fixed singlespeed. It was insane!
