BUILDING A PRELUDE IN 10 MIN - On a Budget!

Honda Prelude 4th gen - 1992
From junkcar to "Showcar" i 10min video!

- This was my first project car/car I bought when I was 18 years old. I was looking for a Japanese, cheap and unique car. The answer was a Prelude 4th gen! Bought it for SEK 5000 ($500) and the car was in really bad condition. But I learned a lot during the project. There was a lot of rust repair (more than what is shown in the video) and then I got to try doing a full paint as well.

-The car was built on a budget. Didn't have a lot of money to put down on the car and bought a lot of used parts and did all the work myself with the help of friends!
The total cost of the build was about 4-5000$

I had a 94 Prelude SI back in, I don't know, 2004-5-6? I loved that car. Had the non VTEC H23, swapped in a JDM H22, JDM one piece black housing headlights were beautiful. Almost as nice as JDM Integra headlights. The icing on the cake was the EL gauge cluster I put in it. That thing was nice. I don't care what anyone says, this car was the best looking car Honda ever made, even if it was a heavy slug. Ok second behind the early 90s NSX. I wish I could find another clean 4th gen Prelude to do a K24 swap. to be young again.

Just picked up a 1995 prelude si for $600. Been sitting for 10 years at least. Cleaned gas tank out. Replaced fuel pump. Runs but rough. Needs injectors cleaned or replaced I think. Excited to see another one brought back. Maybe I’ll share some video of my build on YouTube as well
