@wastingmymoneyonmotorcycles Brought me his 1971 Ford Mustang Convertible for some major upgrades. She looks pretty with the Mach 1 graphics/hood but he said its REALLY SLOW. Let's see if we can get it running right before pulling the 302 engine.

Thanks @BlasterProducts for sponsoring this video!

and thank you @EricWrenchMotors for helping with the engine swap.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR WATCHING!

Tell you what, I'm 79 years old. My first automotive job was at a Rambler/Metropolitan dealership as a lot boy after school. Put a 52 Cadillac engine in my 49 Ford when I was 18. Worked at various dealerships, gas stations, and garages over the years until I switched occupations. That was absolutely the first time I ever saw anybody pull an engine with the hood on! I was really looking forward to watching you put the engine back in with the hood on! Didn't happen. Now that I've pulled your chain a little 🙂 just want you to know I really like your channel. If I wasn't so old I would have made you an offer on the Torino. Really liked that car!! Keep up the good work and keep your hood up! or off....

Bought a ford project here in Australia, and after some. Ruised knuckles and alot of swearing..almost 90% finished. During that time ive been binge watching your channel. Said to my wife last night "man, its alot better watching someone else doing a rebuild, then doing it myself" hahaha. Good channel.

Great job on that mustang. Yes one of the hardest things to do is run after parts right . Keep the video coming thanks.😊

Always get a "breathable" car cover. I get them from HP and the cost about $50. They do have to be replaced every year because the sunlight and UV rays make them porous and brittle. But that's what the covers are there for, primarily to absorb and protect against UV rays, which destroy all plastic, leather and rubber parts -- interior too, dashboards, rubber weatherstripping and plastic trim especially. If you own a convertible, the breathable cover will save your top and prolong its life by 10 years. Oh yes, a desiccant pillow in the trunk and under one of the front seats will absorb massive amounts of moisture and protect the wiring and leather from corrosion/mould. Every month or so, remove the desiccant pouch and leave it on a radiator or in a sunny window to dry out for 24 hours, then return to car.

Hey Chris, I haven't watched a lot of your videos (yet) but I have to say that I really like how you see a problem and just dive right in like it's no big deal. I also love the diversity of the content and the mixture of work and play. Keep up the great videos! Thanks for taking all of the time and effort to put it all together!

I've done hundreds of those axle seals and you got to pack the back of them with grease so the spring don't pop off when you're putting them in😮😮

Incredible content. Watched a 9 in go together, automatic into manual, engine swap and even some dance moves. Filming and wrenching is outta sight. Thanks

Chris, my first car was a 71 Mustang coupe. I did the rear springs, engine and a bunch of other stuff. Thanks so much for this video. What a trip down memory lane! I love the chrome on the hood and and fenders, just like mine.

Pulling that engine and trans out in one piece with that header attached and the hood on was impressive!

Great video Chris. I was watching the Home Pro the other day and he mentioned that you and Jen helped him get his channel back up after he got hacked. I just wanted to mention to that and say Thank you both for being great people.
