Any therapist worth its salt will agree with you and tell them that weather you forgive them or Not isn't their desition, their right, or something they can force.

Watch the smugness drain from their eyes as their entitlement not only back fires horribly but results in them being heavily critizized by a Professional.

If I were OP, I'd agree to one therapy session. I would tell the therapist what the trauma was, who I trusted with it, and what my dad did. Also how the stepmother was trying to insert herself into my life. Then I would respectfully ask the therapist to explain to these 2 idiots why A. I no longer trust either of them, and B. because of that, there will be no moving forward. Period.
