I remember in 2004, I traveled from the States to London for a little two week vacation. I visited the Hard Rock Cafe and got to visit the basement where there were all kinds of rock and roll memorabilia. I got to hold the guitar the Kurt Cobain played in the come as you are music video. One of the coolest moments of my life. It was definitely one of those once a lifetime moments.

Yeah, 25 years on a guitar of bass is classed as vintage! Which makes my 1997 Fender Jazz Bass vintage this year.

Really interesting. I've played a '75 Precision that my dad's friend bought new and played from then until fairly recently - an epic bass. The team in The Bass Gallery in London have let me try out a few 70's Jazz basses and if I had the cash I'd have me one of them, but... they do vary a lot so it's very much a case of trying and seeing if it suits you. There was so much variation in what came out of the factories, and then the lives they've had over the last 40+ years. Great film tho. Nice one.
