Why can't "German nationalism" focus on the scientific, musical, and cultural achievements of the German people? In spite of the militaristic tragedy of WWII, the German people and culture have many positive talents displayed throughout history. I do not think any nation in Europe should lose their cultural identity to unrestricted immigration and the EU. Every nation has positive unique talents that distinguish them from others. This is what makes every nation interesting and why people travel.
