Connecting to OneDrive through Power BI

Thanks for this. But does anyone else think it's completely ridiculous that we have to do this work around between two Microsoft Products? Shouldn't OneDrive be one of the primary data sources that PowerBI looks for?

To connect with oneDrive, we can select excel or folder connector and select onedrive folder or file inside PC

So i update weekly reports into PBI via Excel and i do the cleaning every week in Excel.

Is there a way for me to do the cleaning once in PBI power query and then just upload the weekly unclean reports into PBI every week without doing the same cleaning? If so, how do i go about doing it step by step.
