Proper copper prep. Cut-Ream-Deburr

Показать описание
Cutting with a tubing cutter is the proper method for cutting copper. Square cuts, then ream the ridge on the inside, remove burr on outside from cut and the pipe is prepped for a press fitting.

If the coper was to be soldered, the next step would be to clean using sand cloth then apply flux.

It’s nice to see people still do this, I’m not a plumber, but I did work with one that totally skipped a step for the sake of time. But I purchase a deburring tool and did the best I could on the inside, I should’ve did the outside, too.

You have to make a video explaining how you made that pipe reamer out of copper parts 🎉

How many M cuts do you have to make to get your money out of that tool? I can do the same thing with my mini Ridgid portaband in half the time but I can also use that on rod, unistrut, wood, flat stock, angle iron....
