The whole thing helped me out Immensely! But I have to add, I was able to do this entire job without needing to disconnect the caliper at all. I unbolted the caliper and rotor away from the knuckle, and removed both pieces still in tact, tied together by an old wire hanger. Made the job much easier. This method was made necessary due to the fact that in several of the videos I've watched, the size of the allen hex socket needed to take out the caliper pins in Several videos I've watched were WRONG! Not 7mm, not 8mm, not 9mm. I have no idea what the actual size is, but I bought all 3 and none of them worked. Thank goodness for thinking outside the box!

I'm a bit of a gorilla ... I've ruined bearings trying to press them back into the knuckle. This is a fantastic option to replace the entire assembly. In fact, I have a front wheel bearing going on my Ford Edge, and after seeing this video, I ordered the replacement assembly and will be doing this repair later today.

What is exactly the size of axel bolt nut. Nice video at the same time.

If you take out the axle shaft first it makes it easier to get in there to remove ball joint by using a hammer and chisel you can pry open and pop it right out. No need to destroy ball joint with pickel fork or need for other tool.

Do you have to remove knuckle on The 2013 Ford Escape in order to put new tire studs in.
There are no bolts on back of hub to take out .
My tire studs sheared off . Drs side . I’m to the point of taking of knuckle and replacing the entire suspension. The hub is stuck.
