I saw the DOORS on a flatbead truck in Camarillo, Calif BEFORE this song came out ! They did this song at a "Battle of the Bands". And, by the way, they WON !! It was quite the 'unknown' band to see. You Knew you were seeing Talent. In two weeks this song would be Number One Everywhere !!

It's crazy, as soon as he starts playing light my fire you immediately know that's him. Super underappreciated for how influential he was

Robbie's playing was always over the top and outside the circle. He doesn't disappoint here either ! Wow ! still playing through an old Acoustic solid state amp.

As baby boomers we can appreciate The Doors and Robbie's licks on all their classic songs as some of the best there was from back in the day..

Fcuking yeeah!!! I was listening to this when it was fresh. I was still at school here in Australia then. The Doors are still on high rotation around our house. Can not describe how much I've enjoyed this clip. Live long, Robbie. Thank you.

Krieger's masterpiece. The Doors might not have made it big without it.

Elanor Rigby and These are a Few of My Favorite Things thrown into the Light My Fire solo!
I met Robbie after a show in Chicago and told him how cool that he threw those other songs into the solo and he said “Yeah, sometimes I wonder if people notice “. Oh, we noticed!!!!

What a find. Robbie, 78 now. The great guitarists are starting to disappear. Let's love 'em while we can!
