Parker Lake Trail - Inyo National Forest

July 4th 2021 - Parker Lake Trail, because I got up very early and drove over 7 hours from San Diego, I decided to do a somewhat east hike. The heat made it tough but it was 2 miles up to the lake where it was much cooler. There’s just under 600’ of climb but it’s all in the first 3/4 of a mile then cruise flat for the rest.

Really beautiful. We lost about six feet of snow above 6, 000' elevation in the last two weeks, so our summer spring is just beginning on the mountains.
