An early spring hike to Parker Lake located just outside the community of June Lake in California's eastern Sierra.
This is a moderate to easy 3.6 round trip hike.
Parker Lake Road is a sometimes-graded dirt road; four-wheel drive is not required. Plan a full day and enjoy your time on the June Lake Loop. Bring plenty of water and snacks, and wear sun protection including sunscreen, hat and sunglasses. As always, leave no trace and pack out what you brought in.
