Been a fan of these for a while for both flat europlugs and and the bigger Schuko style plugs. Seems better than cutting off the plug because it means it can be easily reversed if you go on holiday.

Never seen one that can deal with earthed shucko before.
7/16 ones are common and 7/17 ones aren't too hard to find, but 7/3 or 7/7 as this one seems to be are much rarer

or you can just take screwdriver isolated tester move that 3rd up bigest pin and force european plug inside it take some efort and it will work

Just cut that euro plug off and fit a decent UK one, complete with appropriate fuse. Those adapters are awful things.

Schuko is definetely the best design out there but brits are not off with their design, the plug shown here is protected well and basic circuit protection in UK seems to be in very good level (top notch) with this design using rcd, mcb and lastly the fuse shown here so selectivity requirements are fullfilled. Btw. US/NA plugs and whole electrical system is very silly compared to Euro🤣

I kinda wish for a international norm for power plugs i would love to have a fixed polarity here in germany would make some things safer ans having fused apliences. But having a fully resessed plug where no life metal could ever be showing is already pretty nice
