Absolutely the Pinnacle of The Stones greatness. Plowed under a mountain of drugs at a chateau in France. Writing and recording at all different times and yet still delivering this somehow cohesive masterpiece. Only the Rolling Stones could have crafted this. Possibly the greatest Rock & Roll record ever made.

I was 12 when this record came out, the stones had been around a long time already, their so prolific back then, new hit songs on the radio, year after year. The Beatles were the clean cut band and the stones were the dirty boys, that was the thinking back then.

Some Girls and Exile on Main Street possible the best Rolling Stones albums! They were their best in the 1970’s and early 80’s. Glad they are still touring, Ronnie Wood, Keith, Mick, thank you for the music!
