Blendjet isn't working

I used both of them twice.  And they were working.  Now they don't work. On both its like the light when I press the button goes from blue and red. I'm confused because this absolutely shouldn't be happening ------ ORDER #691251

If the light blinks 3 times that means it’s locked. To unlock, hold the button for 3 seconds until light blinks blue 3 times and it should be working again for the next click.

I had the same problem and just discovered the solution.... There's a small magnet that is not well secured to the plastic cylinder right where the arrow is placed. It fell out. It needs to be sensed by the magnet inside the base where that arrow is located in order to be deemed safe to blend. If you can find the magnet (it is VERY small), you can slip it back into the slot and it should work. Just be careful to secure it and pay attention when cleaning.

In my case I turned the blades myself. The blade was stiff and couldn't turn. It works now.

I have exactly the same problem. I have two as well; bought at different times from different retailers. My magnets are in tact and I did not burn the motor out. I've tried everything. They just stopped working after about 2 uses.

Mine stopped blending as well. It turns out the magnet fell out. So BlendJet is sending me a new one free of charge.

Someone suggested a magnet McGuyver use on the BlendJet. Pass a magnet, (I used a larger fridge door magnet) around the blend switch for 5-10 seconds and the baby works again. Now i can drink smoothies. Now i can be happy.😊

I have a flashing red and purple light which the manual says is the battery is dead. However when I plug it in I have a solid blue light which the manual says means fully charged. I have the arrows lined up and it still will not turn on. This is out of the box. I still haven’t blended anything with it yet.

We’ve been bamboozled by the makers of Blendjet 2. It doesn’t work and I am pissed off!

Mine did the same thing. I contacted the company and because I bought this from someone on line they could not help me but said that the flashing blue and red light meant that it was a charging issue and I could buy replacement parts in their web site. After reading the comments, I remember I found a small magnet in my sink, I put it in the little slot in the bottom of the cup and it worked. there is alittle slot in the bottom where the magnet slips into. I need to superglue it back. This is probably why there is a blendjet 2.

Mine stopped working too and literally I only had it for like 6 months. This is just a scam never buying again

Mine was not working too.The light was blinking exactly the same way, I haven't used it in a year.I unscrewed the blade and cleaned the base, works perfect now

Spin your blades. I forced to spin my blade and plugged it again it works. It just happens that my blade stucked.

My wife's was just doing this. I made sure that when arrow was in line with the power button it was really snug. Snug to the point of me not being able to tighten any more. It powered up like it was supposed to with just the blue light on

I saw the company website they said if you run it empty then the motor will be burned. I think that’s why our blends are not working i think we burned the motor 😂

Ok guys so we took mine apart and the battery terminal rusted off so I bought a better battery on tenergy and will solder it on you still get light because the light is not powered by the battery

Thanks to the comments I found out that I had to tight the cylinder I little bit more and it worked

I have two blendjet with same problem ..but solution is u have to open base of blendjet and reconnect the wire terminals with the battery. Because sometime these terminals get detached during a minor shaking or washing blendjet .My blendjet Woking perfectly after this process. I hope this will help u all too

Hold the button down for 3 seconds until the blue light blinks twice..then it'll turn on

I have a total of 6 blendJets. 4 in pastel colors the 5th in black for my husband and a hot pink for my baby purées. 2 already stopped working and it hasn’t even been 2 months. I just started using the 2 new ones. It won’t turn on or charge I’m so upset and disappointed. Sadly only 1 blendJet has guarantee and it isn’t for the ones that stopped working. :( Best luck to y’all!
