I am so excited that we're slowly going back to Khaenri'ah and its origins. I bet the Fatui would want to use Albedo's notes and the Khaenri'ah art to bring Signora back to life.

I am very excited and happy that Mihoyo decided to make an event that confirmed many lore junkies' guesses about certain characters' backstory. Like Klee with Alice, Xiangling with Guoba's real identity and Albedo with his connection with Khaen'riah. Bravo to them!

Now if only that somehow the past events can be replayed for those who missed them. Wouldn't you guys agree?

Knowing now what Rhinedotter is capable of creating, it makes me wonder about Alice and her powers and how the two become such close friends that Rhine would trust the care of her greatest creation with Alice.

Oh wow, I haven't started the Quest yet but that was really insightful. Rhinedottir created Durin and Albedo, both turned out to be for completely different purposes. Albedo being made out of Chalk thus indicating that he is a pure being, I wonder how was "Gold" able to fashion Durin, literally the opposite of Albedo and has the ability to poison such as in the case of what happened to Dvalin. This probably shows how Khaenriah was way ahead of civilization if Alchemy could aid them with such devices and power, this may be the power Dainsleif speaks of, "we will defy this world with the power from beyond..."

Now we also know why Alice chose Albedo to be Klee's brother, since Albdeo should live longer than most humans

Albedo - Favorite Prodigy Child
Durin - average child who died due to being corrupted
Rifthound - cute little new bundles of joy "babies" of the family
Golden Wolflord - the "accident"

I've read that Khaenriah faced the cataclysm because Gold started making the people into monsters and sent them to all corners of Teyvat to destroy. And Celestia destroyed Khaenriah because of this. The monsters are still there though. And I kinda drew up a theory on which region Khaenriah is based on irl with a friend of mine. Well, Rhinedottir translates to Daughter of The Rhine, and it's an Icelandic/Old Norse name. Since we didnt know much about iceland, we did know that Norway/The Scandinavian region had Vikings. Since they mentioned it was an "old norse name, we stuck with the Scandinavian region and didnt go into much detail about Iceland. Vikings no longer exist, neither do the monsters in Khaenriah. Another source we referred to said that "Vikings are active beyond their Scandinavian homelands". This can be used as a reference to how the abyss monsters who got out of khaenriah are still active over teyvat. So we just theorized it just for fun, might be true, might not. There are a few loose ends tho, like, Khaenriah didnt worship any god, while Odin was worshipped in Scandinavia. Vikings werent killed, Scandinavia wasnt destroyed, it just transformed.

i wonder what gold created albedo for? durin and the hounds are obviously creation for the reason of destruction, but what is albedo’s purpose?

The ostensible son of Gold & brother of durin which certainly explains why all his events 1.2 2.3 & story quest all take place on dragonspine which is littered with his ostensible brothers remains which he probably hopes to learn from
