Ironic that while the mark on Albedo's neck is his only flaw, it's also what makes him more complete than his brother.

Notice how no one dared asked Paimon's Origins other than Mona.

Actually, the mark on thier clothes mean that their clothes are "special". Not them. also might be why the traveller was not willing to change his clothes in Ayaya quest and archon quest.

If the mark is present in scaramouche, maybe this is the way that Mihoyo uses to tell us that "This thing didn't come from nature, it was crafted and made like this."

If that's true, a lot of possibilities may open, it also may prove as explanation for Dainslief's power and solid especulation material for Kaeya.

Paimon's mark being different also must mean something.

Well, considering that Albedo was created by Gold, who was part or Kaenri'ah, and that Ei was also at the Cataclysm, could it be possible that Ei learnt the "lost technique" of creating artificial bodies maybe from a book by Gold after the battle (it could have been something similar to the Alchemical texts that Albedo uses)?

I don’t think Kaeya and Dainsleif are artificially created, I think the eyes are just an aesthetic design, like Hu Tao’s eyes.
And I believe the travelers the symbols on the travelers clothes are just signs to show that they aren’t from Teyvat.
Different Khaenri’ah alchemists could use other symbols, I don’t think the star mark on Albedo is the only type of mark there is.

TBH I don't think the four pointed star symbol means synthetic creation.

I believe it represents foreign; alien; or interstellar, as Teyvat seems to be deprived of authentic stars; authentic connection to the cosmos. Thus, I am more convinced that the four-pointed star is to suggest origins non-native to Teyvat; cosmic origins.

If true, then perhaps Khaenri'ah and Rhinedottir may have come from a culture that reveres the stars and cosmos into their symbolism and identity.

Also keep in mind that that Primogems are also shaped like a four-pointed star with its literal Chinese translation meaning "Original Stone". The Chinese characters for the name Genshin translates as "Original God".

Then perhaps also the four-pointed star could be a hommage or tribute to both power and divinity of the "Original God", who may be the "God of the Cosmos and Stars"; a god forgotten by Teyvat since the stars in the sky are fake like a mirage.

We always imagine Aether and Lumine being physically identical to any human but maybe there are some differences. Their clothes are connected to their elements and some parts glow with different colors based on the element or power or no power they are using, what if their clothes originate from the big gem they have on their chests, like a battle suit of some kind? Probably those two crystals are embedded in their chests and the possibility of them being artificially created or modified from the world they come from can explain this. I considered Mona's jewels on her hat and right thigh but I don't think it's the same thing. Maybe they didn't want to change clothes because they know they probably wouldn't be able to remember them correctly if they changed into too many outfits from Teyvat and they wanted to keep theirs to remeber also their lost sibling

I can't think of a meme this is too good and serious Genshin lore is in another level

In short, Albedo is a walking glassboy blown by Rhinedottir herself

Theory: Aether & Lumine's "vision" icon is like Albedo's mark is because their elements did not come from Celestia which thus referred as "imperfect" by the gods

Well, Scara isn’t even a human and was made by Ei. So technically he’s artificially made???

Don't confuse the mark to mean anything that has the mark is artificial.

This mark only exist on Albedo because of the method Rhinedottir use to create him. I believe this method is different from her creating the Fail/First Albedo, hence he doesn't have the mark.

( Also if both Albedo's creation was the same method, it's possible the mark is on a different area on his body. Glassblowing does start from the same spot for all )

Same for Durin and the other creatures of Gold, all were created using different techniques.

However the main thing we should be looking at is, this mark has this shape because energy seeps out in all directions from a focal point. Which could imply that objects and living beings with this mark has immense amount of energy within them.

The Traveler Garment, we know that it takes the color of each element and it could also be the reason the Traveler is able to freely use all elements in Teyvat.

Paimon, a floating creature like that needs a large supply of energy to constantly keep afloat.

Kaeya's eyes, I'm not certain about this, but it could mean he has an abundance of energy within him and is destine to become something great. Maybe even the replacement of Dain as the Bough Keeper.

Just my take on it. And also the mark itself could have significantly different meanings, reasons and causes depending on what or who it's on.

I like to think that diamond mark means a stage that a civilization reaches, since it's worn by people with different origins. Since the travelers wear them, it could confirm that it's a knowledge that travelers home knows, and any civilization in any world would inevitably reach it if they are advanced enough. Albedo also makes it sounds like its a mark that appears when using creation. Like the anemo symbol showing up when you use the element sometimes.

After Albedo now I'm interested in kaeya. I wonder what's his story about his mark

Maybe the mark doesn't mean being just being"artificial", it makes sense with Albedo and Scaramouche but no the others, so what if it's also related to the energy flow that Albedo talked about? While people from other nations that own visions have that power stored *internally*, the traveller got it *externaly* (from the statues). The same can be said about Khaenri'ah people, we have seen with Dainsleif that they have special abilities, but this power isn't from the Archons so it's considered "external" energy too. Scaramouche is artificial, but his energy flow is also external due to needing his "heart" to be externally inserted on him
Basically:
internal: energy given directly by the gods(visions)
External: energy aquired by other means(touching statues, technology, etc.)

Another thing is that internal energy is more permanent, they come from within. Visions might be visible externally, but the owner literally can't escape from it(there are a lot of cases where the person tried to destroy/hide the vision, but it doesn't work), because it's part of them.
But the ones that have external energy flow aren't like that: Scaramouche's heart was removable, Albedo has a mark of where the Energy was inserted to make him, Khaenri'ah got power through research and technology, Traveller chanelled the element through the statues. In all of these cases the "energy" never came from within them.

i love how people always say, kaeya and dainslief have the diamond in their eyes, but what they fail to notice is that keqing actually have the diamond in her eye as well.
we know she likes to rely on her own power (character story and thing about rex lapis) and seems to have a small dislike towards archons. was she perhaps from khanrehia as well? but it was never revealed? kaeya was sent to mondstadt as a spy, and he revealed it later on. seeing as keqing is the yuhei of the liyue qixing. maybe keqing was sent as a spy to liyue???

idk. this is just pure speculation.

I believe Khae'riah people are somewhat modified, but not for the Twins cause the diamond shape only appear in their 'clothes'

I believe the diamond-shaped mark is supposed to mean either of these 2 things:
1. Mark of outlander - traveler, albedo, kaeya, dainsleiff, and scara are all different from regular teyvatans. They don't "belong in this world"
2. Mark of khaenriah (or more generally, mark of resistance against the divine) - albedo, kaeya, and dain are directly related to it and the traveler's sibling is fighting for khaenriah. The marks on abyss mage's arms are pretty similar to this diamond mark.
This also leads to the theory that the traveler is actually from there and therefore was attacked by the unknown goddess (the same goddess that destroyed khaenriah). The traveler might not be aware that khaenriah is her homeland since it has been like 500 years since the cataclysm and the name could have changed.

This symbol is used In the depictions of Celestia and the holy twins from the Battle Pass too, I doubt it's for being artificial, but for being divine without follow anyone else. I think Dain and the Sustainer are the twins that failed returning the genesys pearls, so this true divine place (that's NOT Celelstia) send the travelers
