How often do you have to change the filters, im used to a berkey where they last for ages

Have you tested the PH? Mine keeps coming out a 6, even with the alkaline filter. Learned RO water starves the water by depleting it from everything, and when it comes in contact with air it pulls carbon which makes the water acidic. After dealing with heartburn for a week, I switched from the RO by running it on low pressure through the alkaline filter. Takes like 30 seconds to fill a glass though. Not really happy with the system
