Oh Jay 😭😭😭😭. The Wizard of Oz was filmed in 1939!!! And is one of the biggest classics ever!!!! Judy Garland singing "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" in this movie is beyond gorgeous! It's amazing!!! ❤️❤️❤️

The Wizard of Oz was made in 1939, one of the best years of old Hollywood. It's iconic and your movie knowledge is incomplete without watching it!

The lyric of, "but Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man, that he didn't already have" means the Tin Man already was caring and empathetic and had a "heart" for others.

Those of us of a certain age remember when "The Wizard of Oz" came on only once a year on TV and everyone watched it. I can't remember what time of year it was, but we all watched it. The film was released in 1939 but still popular as late as the 1970s and '80s. It's strange to me that people are no longer familiar with it, since it was an annual TV event for literally decades and decades.

The cowardly lion actually had courage, the scarecrow actually had a brain, and the tin man actually had a heart. Oz never did give nothing to the tin man, that he didn't already have.

If your goal is to watch classic movies, 1939's Wizard of Oz is a must. It's one of the first films in colour and uses a bit of black and white to separate the fantasy from reality. Good for the kids and adults as well. Talk him into it Amber. As for America, you'll want to hear "Sister Golden Hair", "Ventura Highway" and "Lonely People."

You can't get too deep into lyrics with America; they remind me of one of those blacklight posters we hung on our walls at that time. You didn't try to make too much sense of the imagery; you just let it carry you away into another world. And, man, that blend of harmonies, instruments, and rhythm on this song is just magical.

Love America’s harmonies ♥️ The tin man did not have a heart yet he could still love. 🙏🏽✌🏽

The lyrics are "Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man that he didn't, didn't already have." In other words, Tin Man had a heart all along, which he demonstrated through his actions. He just didn't know it. All Oz gave him was a clock to make a ticking sound, and that made him happy.

"Sister Golden Hair" is another one from them. "Tin Man" was overplayed on the radio and was even inside some stores back in the day. It's a soothing one.

Just watch The Wizard of Oz with your kids or do it as a reaction movie. It’s a piece of iconic American culture that you need to be familiar with.

Um, jay, … Wizard of Oz, 1939, not 1960s lol. A classic iconic movie you guys need to see. You also need to see 12 angry men.

Love it. America has this sound that makes you feel you are floating on a cloud. Other favourites are 'Ventura highway' and 'Lonely people'.

That drum line during the 'Oz' phrase is so much fun.

The Wizard of OZ is a 'quest' movie with great music. :)

Jay, as everyone in the comments have already said, "The Wizard Of Oz" was filmed in 1939, and is one of the greatest classic movies of all time. It is a MUST SEE! I really don't know how anyone, regardless of age, could go through life without watching it! That is a tragedy! Great reaction choice, although I wondered if you would catch the references. Put OZ on your movie reaction list! It's a required watch, just as there are classic books that should be required reading! Thanks, you two! ✌💙✌

Okay, get ready for 350, 000 people telling you to react to "The Wizard of Oz." It's so much a part of American culture, that it will help you understand so many references in songs and other movies. It was also an amazing film considering it was made -- in color -- in 1939. It has its faults, but Judy Garland's voice is incredible, and Ray Bolger's dancing will blow you away. Just give it a try.
