Removing the pages for each room is a welcome change but by far I’m most excited to see if the reliability has actually improved.
My two HomePod Minis have maybe a 50/50 chance of not even being able to turn the lights off with Siri saying “wait……. having trouble connecting to the internet”.
Meanwhile my Echos work 99% of the time.

Them removing the iPad as a home hub reinforces my belief that we’ll be seeing a new HomePod this fall…not saying it’ll happen, but I’ve got a feeling.

I have iOS 16 on my iPhone and Mac but I have an iPad running an older version of iOS and it’s running fine as a hub and still shows up on iOS 16 as an iPad

With Matter, I can control Google Home devices using Apple Home? Game changer.

I upgraded to iOS 16 and notice that now to switch on/off devices it requires two extra clicks, previous I could toggle in a single click.

Small change, but I really like it: now tiles no longer change from light to dark mode, but wallpapers change. Which are now dynamic.

Why do I now have to slide up/down to turn lights on/off? I understand that was an option before for the brightness, but I liked the one tap turn lights on/off that was in iOS 15. Anyone else notice this?

Edit: found out that tapping the light icon itself (the circular icon) will turn the light on/off. Tapping to the right of the icon, will bring up the toggle for brightness.
