Thank you so much for this video!! I have been doing this for the past year and have definitely noticed my digestion has gotten a lot better!
Into my water I also add like a tsp of apple cider vinegar. I believe it just helps to break down the Phytic Acid if I’m not mistaken? ❤

If I soak my rice overnight, drain the old water, and then put it inside my ricecooker, how much water do I need to add to the rice after? Since it's already absorbed quite a bit, I'm not sure how much more id need to add in order to be able to cook it

Im very interested in raw foods and question myself if I can eat properly soaked rice without cooking?
Most of the rice that you buy is preserved with heat already anyways so its not fully raw but I dont wanna damage more by overcooking it.

I have been telling people to soak rice overnight and then cook it. I do it for all my lentils and pulses as well.

Hello do you have a good peer reviewed source to support this practice? I struggle to find one, most seem to say that soaking doesn't have much of an effect on phytates. Or that it does leech the phytates but also the minerals with it so that the ratio of phytate to mineral in the final product is essentially the same. I heard that practice recommended a lot and it kinda makes sense, but I can't find rigorous studies that demonstrate it's benefits. Doesn't mean they don't exists.. If anyone has a good source, I'd love to know! thanks :)

So if I was to set my rice and water (at the normal rice cooker measurements) left it to soak, and then simply measured the drainage in the morning and replaced that amount. I should have perfect rice right?

Hello Mr. Yang. Quick question. Does it matter the temperature of the water and wether you should let it soak in the fridge or not?

how much faster will it cook? i usually cook white rice 10 minits with low heat and 10 minit without heat with the lid on all the time, if i soak it overnight how much faster will it cook, and if the ratio is 2 cup water per 1 cup rice will this change?

You rinse the rice before or after you soak it? I'm concerned if you rinse it after you soak it, the rice is more fragile and a lot would break apart.

If we soak the rice overnight, should we still rinse it first to "remove all the starches" like everyone always recommends?

I have a small question. How long can we keep this rice after cooking?
