Go to your settings and check for your blocked contacts. There should be a number there that says roughly “32665”. For some reason your phone blocks it on its own and prevents you from getting the code. Hope this helped.

If anyone is still having trouble i used my wife's phone to sign into my account and the code said sent to my phone number and it actually got sent to my phone. Try and use someone else's phone and u might get the code.

You're confusing confirmation code (in your title), which is the term used when signing up for Instagram, with security code (your video topic), which is a different matter.
