What would you do if you had to put yourself in the position of an east coast man?

If you’re going to carry a bag then make it a small crossbody pouch. Put it on over your shirt and under your jacket. Leave your jacket partly zipped. This makes the items inside accessible, but the bag is concealed and the strap cannot be grabbed and used to pull you down.

What's strange is just in a short few years we went from the normal world to watching videos on prepping and how to defend yourself for riots and civil wars

After watching this video, the UK parliament has banned all cutting boards.

It's about time you finally picked up your dream of writing Hollywood scripts! This new script-writing career of yours is bound to take off if you work at it. Keep it up, young author! There are so many subjects to pitch for movies and TV shows, why not explore them all!

Being an Englishman, watching this I felt like I was the main punching bag at a comedy roast with my buddies.

I was walking around San Francisco and I saw a Homeless dude who built himself a whole battle suit made from cardboard, newspaper, and duck tape. Was unreal, even made a helmet and was going to war with another homeless man with a baseball bat.

Nobody seems to remember a sling when these kinds of things come up. Some rope, nylon fabric, and large gravel or the like. Pracitce throwing with it. You can sling a heavy projectile pretty fast and pretty far.

For any UK proho enthusiast, look into the movie "28 days later" yes it's zombies, but it's also about being outnumbered and trying to survive without being injured and using ingenuity.

Something to consider for knife attacks is. Often there is no warning. Some people dont even realise they have been stabbed until the adrenaline wears off. Its not like most self defence demos where they wave a knife around threatening you. They keep it hidden. Then suddenly rush in. Also seems like there are a lot of people about with machetes in the UK. Which is far more obvious.  I think some kind of protection on your forearms might be the best defence. I dont know for sure, that's just my thoughts on that one. Running away is probably a better idea, but if your forced to defend yourself

I had an idea several weeks ago about making armor using HDPE, the plastic used for milk jugs. Cut the jug(s) into pieces and cover a pan with them. Heat up in the oven to melt (instructive videos on this) and use a flat board to press into sheets. Repeat. Take several sheets and stack, melt, and press into a sheet around a quarter inch thick. Then use those sheets to make the armor. It can be heated up to make it shapeable for forming around arms and legs, etc. The bonus is you get to recycle.

The Irish used to carry walking sticks called Shillelagh’s. The top end has a big hard knot of wood on it basically, bust a skull right open. And don’t forget the humble rock, going further back to our ancient ancestors… be creative

Chopping boards that are thin can be formed to any shape with a regular convection over too, cool it quick, aka immerse in water, and it won't go brittle
