Wow. I'm 56 and have had what up until recently, I considered a reasonably successful life. Volodomyr Zelensky is just 44 and he makes me feel I've done absolutely nothing of any substance. He will go down in history as one of the few shining beacons who really made a difference.

Russia could occupy Donbass area, if they focused on it. maybe.. it is a big what if. anyway Russia decided to attack on kiyw. I guess the macho Putin thought that ex-comedian president of Ukraine would had run away like a coward.(Even US had same idea), so he could put his puppet in Ukraine. it should be easy like that. But The Ukrainian President declared himself to stay and fight with the brave people, and that made the "great" plan of Putin collapsed. Massive respect to president Zelanskyy.

I love it when this man speaks English!! Zelensky has given many speeches over the last 6 months. He’s so passionate he usually maintains English for only a few minutes before switching to his native language to speak faster.

Today he got out of his comfort zone and spoke English for 25 minutes so he could communicate effectively with the World leaders who back him. Ukraine is incredibly lucky to have him as their leader. 👏 👏 👏

Imagine if Russia ever captured Zelensky? Sheesh. I was impressed by his speech, his English is able to evoke emotional tone despite it being not being his mother tongue or living anywhere near where English is commonly spoken. Purely forced to speak it for the defense of his nation.

Zelensky is in truth someone who was expected to fold, to be weak, he has shown the world he doesn't just speak loudly but with resolve and with pride and truly loves his country. He has taken the challenge so many fail at and proves he is willing to die for what he believes. I respect that as I will always follow a strong leader. In the same way he demands and produces courage, confidence, resolve and pride among his people, enough to fight a war against a foe that even the USA is not willing to openly fight yet here they are, Ukrainians, shouldering the security of Europe, perhaps even the world by making sure Russia is too busy targetting them and not others.

I cannot fault a man such as Zelensky, the man will be noted in history books, written and talked about for the next several decades if not century with eire. He is the poster boy of Ukrainian resistance and this is why I hope Russia never captures him.
