Insulated Overalls vs. Non Insulated Overalls (Carhartt Overalls)

What's the difference between insulated and non-insulated overalls? They have an extra layer for some additional warmth in the winter...

Nice video, from a fellow Canadian and electrical apprentice I have a few tips for you and anyone watching: Carhartt is the standard, but the Canadian brand Tough Duck makes a lot of similar workwear that's probably around 85% of the quality of Carhartt depending on the item but at half the cost, as well some select items are actually made in Winnipeg. I Recommend the overalls, insulated and uninsulated, the chore jacket, and my favorite right now, the insulated hoodie. Now for extreme cold temps like below -30 the Carhartt style insulated overalls aren't always enough to keep you warm, so what I recommend is to go to your local military surplus store and see if you can find a pair of olive green CAF insulated overalls, they are insulated enough to be warm at -30 with just long johns underneath and are made with a Gore Tex material. they have a zipper that opens up the entire leg like your Carhartts, but there is also a string at the bottom of the leg that can be tightened and tied to keep them from opening up. They also wear over the entire front of your chest with insulation so they help keep your core warm too. Don't pay more than $70 for a pair.

Im from BC and it doesn't get too cold on the, coast but I wear non insulated Carhartt bibs in the winter. I wear Stanfield long underwear with them

Coveralls have a built-in jacket; those are actually overalls.
