Hi Booktube! Here is my long-awaited ranking of all of Jane Austen's novels! I participated in the Down Memory Jane read-a-long this year, and finally read all of Jane Austen's works. In this video I tell you which are my least to most favorite of her works. You might be surprised by some of my rankings!

Mansfield Park is the book I’m going to try. Thank you! I’ve had trouble reading Jane Austen in the past, but this book intrigues me.

My favorite is Persuasion. You’re not the first to have mixed feelings on Sense and Sensibility. Love your number one (don’t want to spoil it in the comments). My plan is to reread Pride and Prejudice next July. Wonderful video, Annie!

Ah, Persuasion is also my favourite Austen! I totally get what you mean when you say it feels more real somehow. I identify with Anne the most out of all the Austen heroines and I love the quiet drive that this novel has. Also 100% agree about that letter - swoon!!

I've only read Northanger Abbey (after giving up on Jane Eyre half-way though it), and Pride and Prejudices but I didn't enjoy either, I had hard time getting through both. Now you've convinced me to give Persuasion a chance and maybe to Mansfield Park too! I loved this video, thanks for rating all of them, it's such a good idea!

The ITV version of Northanger Abbey (with Felicity Jones as Catherine) is my third favourite TV adaptation of a Jane Austen novel (after the 1995 BBC version of Persuasion (Amanda Root as Anne) and the 2009 BBC version of Emma (with Romola Garai)). It's well worth a watch.

I was familiar with the gothic novels that Northanger Abbey was responding to, and I still didn’t enjoy it lol
