I’m a Christian black girl, and while I had heard about reformed theology, I pushed it away because I thought it was mainly for white people, and I had some external pressure to conform to typically black churches (which are not reformed). However, I ended up changing churches and ended up at a church that’s primarily black but has reformed values, and that encouraged me to start looking into it more, and realized how Biblical it is.

Hello Dr. Thank you for what you said about pastors. Good stuff.

Over the years I embraced the reformers and puritans more than ever. Especially when it comes to what I see in the black church.
Thanks for sharing.

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:28‬ ‭ESV‬‬
I like to see it as reformed theology is just Biblical theology, and just like Galatians 3:28 says. We are all one in Christ. So, His word and the theology taught within is for everyone regardless of race or ethnicity.

Honestly most of the best bible teachers that have helped me understand the bible subscribe to Reform Theology. Shamefully I never examined it to see if that was something I wanted to claim as my theological point of view (although you are always influenced by what you're listening to). I didn't know that black people were turning away from this kind of interpretation.

Voddie Baucham Jr is the best living preacher in my opinion, and he is black. If we see ourselves as who we are according to the outside we are in error against God, who is a Spirit. John 4 24

Man looks on the outward appearance YHVH GOD looks on the heart.

First, I don't trust any theology that doesn't derive from scripture.

Second,
Acts 5:
29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, WE OUGHT TO OBEY GOD RATHER THAN MEN.

Third, whether we're talking about Reformed Theology or Replacement Theology, Christianity is a religion that skews the message of the bible for the purpose of deceiving the masses.

For example, rather than convey the truthful message around the skin color of YAHOUSHUA (Revelation 1:13-15); Christianity spread the image of Ceasar Borgia and deceived the whole world into worshipping a false white image of YAHOUSHUA, transliterated as Jesus, .
Not only that, but Christianity then adopted and justified pagan worship via traditions of men (Colossians 2:8, Jeremiah 10:1-8); i.e. Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Halloween, etc. The whole world followed Christianity into these pagan rituals. Not only that, Christianity is responsible for the invention of "spiritual Israel, " which causes the believer to misunderstand who true Israel is, so that last day prophecies can be better understood.

For example, because Christianity supports the notion that the so-called jews are true Israel, the whole world is deceived into a false understanding of last day prophecies because they are focused on the wrong people; and they use Replacement Theology to interpret scriptures meant for true Israel.

The true Israelites are the ones that bare the curses of Deuteronomy 28 and Leviticus 26. Some of the curses include, but are not limited to servitude (Deuteronomy 28:68), loss of identity (Deuteronomy 28:36-37, extreme poverty (Deuteronomy 28:38-40, 42-43), loss of language (Deuteronomy 28:49) and land of origin (Deuteronomy 28:64, 68), and separation of families from the selling away of children and family members (Deuteronomy 28:41), etc.

So, what nation of people that have been scattered around the globe in servitude, with a yoke of iron around their necks, and whose descendants are still in those lands today, with loss of identity as a nation, are extremely poor, have no language or land of origin, and whose family history is broken from the legacy of slavery, and they are the most hated people on the planet? These people shouldn't be too hard to identify, especially when you add all the curses as search arguments. Specifically, the 400-year "servitude and affliction" criteria.

Deuteronomy 28:
46 And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed forever.

So, until Father YAH regathers HIS people from the four corners of the world (not just one country; not just one tribe), these curses will be visible on these people, true Israel, forever:

Jeremiah 23:
6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

8 But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

There are many other deceptions put forth through Christianity, but this isn't the right forum to discuss them. So, for now, shalom!

Thank you for this talk. I often feel alone in a Baptist Church (which my husband pastors). I have been studying work (along with the Bible) by R.C. Sproul, MacArthur, Keller and others. I even went to a Reformed Seminary for a year as the pandemic hit. I will subscribe to hear and study more!

Reformed theology in and of itself saves no one. However using egoistical methodologies. Reformed theology best interprets the word of God. So I subscribe to it. So if someone has a better method of being a Christian following and wholly trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation pls let me! My hope is in Christ alone! 13:11

I thought that TULIP was the 5 points of Calvinism? It's the limited aptonment that bothered me. Reading Clavin, who was called a murderer, and other contemporaries of his time just made me feel like the limited atonement would be limited to mostly whites. Maccather and his contemporaries all are Calvinist. So to me, as a Black man anything labeled limited says that Black people get the short handed. This is the primary reason I see Blacks leaving reformed theology because of the racial undertones...
