Why all the negativity? Bipolar is different for every one of us.
This film was creative, well made and shows one PARTICULAR man's life (as you can read in the description)

I live with bipolar and for those of you who do not believe that this video does not portray bipolar, let me tell you why it perfectly conveys what it is like to have it. At first he seems like your average, everyday guy. Then it takes a turn and shows you one of the first things that is common with bipolar which is insomnia; which is either waking up in the middle of the night for no reason at all, which is what the man in the film has, or it is not being able to fall asleep at all and just laying in bed for hours not being able to fall asleep. One of the next things that you see that is associated with bipolar is drug abuse. A lot of people with bipolar abuse drugs and alcohol, which is why he is smoking weed and abuses pills. It is an outlet for people who live with this. If you look at the setting and his facial expressions, everything seems dark and gloomy. The last thing you see in the video, which seems to confuse a lot of people making them believe this is more associated with multiple personality disorder, is when it shows him being the doctor and the patient. It is trying to illustrate that a lot of the time the disorder is killing you while you are also trying your best to help yourself get better.

To me, bipolar is, even when you are not in a depressive episode, you suddenly remember that you don’t want your life to go on. It’s a constant reminder everyday. But we have to fight to the thought and try to have the life you should have. :)

Those who cannot understand bipolar have simply never experienced it. It is a changing and complex condition with a broad spectrum of symptoms and affects people differently.Your short film is excellent and conveys the mood changes in a subtle, but powerful way. Well done!

why is everyone jumping to disapproval so fast? .. just because an extremely versatile illness can't be depicted properly within a 6 minute short film it doesn't mean we should all overlook the beautiful cinematography, editing, camera work and short story itself... stop hating! its great!

I've watched a lot of films, read a lot of testimonies and this film captures something about me and my bipolar disorder. It's a very good portrayal. But I accept that it may not be for everyone.

I love this video because the video gives you aspect on what someone goes through and how they are dealing with their bipolar, depression, anxiety or drug abuse and how it affects their everyday life.

This film is more on point than some people think. The representation is accurate in the sense of confusion and back and forth thinking. I have bipolar 1 and it's been such a struggle that I couldn't put it into words. However my wife and kids could tell all day about it. My heart is with anyone that has ANY kind of mental health disorder/disease.

I think in the end of the film he finally realizes that he is ill (bipolar). It kind of hits him. He didn't know that his mood swings, etc. are caused by a mood disorder.

I have no idea what language this is, but based only on the content alone, and keeping in mind it's only about one particular man's experience, I would say it represents bipolar fairly well. I have bipolar and my experience is much more extreme, but it does look a little different for each person who has it. I really like the ending a lot. In fact, that very last scene is a great summarization of bipolar- the doctor is our healthy place, our baseline while the patient is when we're either dangerously manic or devastatingly depressed. We want to live and help ourselves (doctor) but also are being killed inside (patient) and often people with bipolar do end their lives. Regardless of your opinion about bipolar, the film itself was well made. 🙂🙂🙂

i have it and grieving is only making it worse.. the worst part about it for me is not being able to sleep (so im dealing with rapid talking, cnt concentrate or rem things right after i watch a video or read) or wake up with being afraid or scared to sleep bc of the nightmares (i can always tell wht type of day ill have by the mood i wake up bc of the dream. the ups and downs make me crazy bc i feel like im fighting with myself.. im trying to make a future for myself and then bam my mood switches or im triggered. witch makes me even more low energy. woke up one morning like life was sucked out of me and didnt want to move out of bed

i can relate to this as someone diagnosed and honestly it's shitty how y'all in the comments say 'this isn't bipolar disorder' downplaying it? saying how much more you suffer? we all suffer, it doesn't matter how we do we're all different we hurt differently this disorder isn't catered to one.
