It’s warmer because of axial tilt. We are currently tilting south, the ice in the Antarctic is thicker than it’s ever been, while glaciers and ice in the North retreat. We’re 13k years into the southern tilt, which takes 41k years to complete. This is how we get ice age’s in both hemisphere’s. We’ve just never experienced this in our recorded history

Message alert: Likely a yearly test of the system. They have to leave the alerts on to check every speaker, alarm light, alarm buzzer. Usually its just one or two guys checking every floor, every room. It can indeed take a couple of hours on a large building. The do the test when none of the workers are in the building.

Some years ago I was working on a critical project, working on a Sunday when security tested the system in the building. It was going off for nearly 2 hours.
