This is the most difficult and time consuming part for me until I get better at it

2:39 Ackshually, many also end on -ern (klettern, wandern, ändern) and -eln (sammeln, klingeln, lächeln), and a couple are completely odd (sein, tun).

Btw, a very effective, albeit inefficient, technique I've accidentally found for word memorization is to use songs. I often find a german song I like, translate it, parse it's grammar, words, and the translation. The song itself becomes a mnemonic for a bunch of words, since by remembering the meaning of any verse you can easily figure out the meaning of the words used within it, plus it creates an assosiation. Analyzing the meaning coupled with subsequent relistening makes you recall the meanings of words and grammatical structures too.

Only works if you want to learn random words, and you could memorize more with less time, but the words stick very well. I still remember a word for "bequeath" even though I haven't encountered it anywhere besides one verse in one song.

I found myself using it by mistake to learn Spanish vocabulary
For example inestimable in Spanish that mean something that you can't buy with money
In Arabic we say "لا يقدر بثمن"
I am Moroccan by the way😅
And as I said I did visualize this word with the English word estimate and from there I quickly learned this word in few seconds to few minutes I got it memorize
I swear to you bro I didn't know this was mnemonic memorization Technic😅
It's very useful
Thanks for sharing further details on it❤

You’re speaking about German verbs ending. How to learn them? As a list of separate words, sentences?

I’m wondering how/ if this advice applies to people with aphantasia. I don’t have the ability to create vivid mental images (or imagine noises/ smells/ tastes/ feelings). I think I mainly remember vocabulary by rote repetition. Sometimes I can take advantage of words looking similar to another word I already know and I manage to create an association that way. For example a word might start with similar letters to another word in a different language that I know which has roughly the same meaning. I assume that is not the type of vivid association that you have in mind.

I often watch your videos and what I would like to know is how to learn English. I would like to understand which method to use and above all where to find a list of words, verbs, adjectives etc. to memorize

Mikel, do you just pick up genders in context?

100 a day is a lot! 10 a day would be good for me as I only prioritise 1 hour a day.
