Don’t move to Boulder, Colorado. Seriously. Let us tell you why.. In this series we tell you the WORST places to live in the United States. Our TOP 10 Lists tell you where NOT to move and why we think you should avoid it.

Boulder is a city at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, in northern Colorado. To the west, the trail-lined Flatirons are craggy rock formations overlooking the city. Downtown’s pedestrian Pearl Street Mall includes art galleries, cafes, restaurants and boutiques. The University of Colorado Boulder campus is home to the Fiske Planetarium and the Museum of Natural History, with zoology and anthropology exhibits.

#BOULDER #COLORADO #TOP10 I don’t know if you need to hear this, but:

These lists are not intended to be used for making life changing decisions. They are just another look at the city. I present both good and bad points of view on this channel. I don’t just make videos that are negative. There are positive videos on the channel too, check them out. They are made from statistical sources made available by government agencies as well as first hand resident experiences. If you are happy living here, I am happy for you. No need to send me death threats.

I think this was written and produced by people from Boulder who don't want any more people to move to Boulder. It is NOT cold there. Maybe during a snow storm but thats it. Afterwards its warm and sunny. Snowmobiles?? Are you kidding?

I’d say the only point she got right was the last one. You need almost 90-100k on annual income to live here and not go into debt. Unless you have a few roommates

Living in Boulder has made me realize just how shitty my hometown of lubbock Tx is

3:41 I walked on Pearl Street alone during the night, and it was not at all sketchy. I would never do that in Downtown Greeley.

I'll rather deal with the dryness than the humidity from hell in Houston, Texas which makes it even hotter 365 days of the year

You're smoking dope. I'm from New Orleans. Boulder is not the worst city in the US. I love Boulder.

Um I've lived and owned in Boulder for over five years, and after watching your video I have to say you have no clue what you're talking about. I agree with the high cost and traffic part, but other than that I feel you made this without doing any personal research.

I grew up in Boulder, yes it is awesome but it is surrounded by reality. As we say Boulder is 24 square miles surrounded by reality or Boulder's people's republic

Like seriously, you’ve never been here right?

The real estate prices show how desirable Boulder is. What we know from the market is that people are desperate to move to Boulder. Maybe not this videographer but most people really want to move to Boulder....the real estate market proves that.

I worked in Boulder and lived just over the county line in weld country because it is very expensive. It is not as cold as you mention it being. Yes some days are cold but not brutal. The snow is not as bad as you think though. Most times it will snow over night and by the end of the day it will be gone. Another note is the population where we owned our home has grown massively and the price of our house has more than doubled since we bought it 14 years ago. We also called it the people’s republic of Boulder.

I was born and raised in Boulder a block from The Sink on Uni Hill. Left in '89 and never looked back. It's not the same place I grew up.

I grew up outside of Camden New Jersey. Talking about the crime in Boulder is hilarious!

You forgot the hipster invasion. Been here since 1978 so have seen massive change. You show an old photo of Tom's Tavern. Best burgers in town, but kicked out by some hipster joint. Most excellent local places are gone.

Have you been to Boulder? 😂 Used the climate for 3 of the 10 reasons, Hunting isn’t even legal, Violent crime is 5% less than national average and there’s not even a walmart in boulder

I wouldn't even say these are the worst things. They regulate "light pollution" so everything is super dark/feels a bit sketchy walking around at night. They heavily regulate businesses so janky stores like Walmart aren't allowed and there's not many food places open late-- it's like the whole town lives under curfew. And the gas is easily 50 cents more than the most expensive gas place where you're from.
