I'll be super excited no matter what, but I actually am hoping (unrealistically) for a Xenosaga or Xenogears remaster/remake. Would love them to officially link Xenosaga to Xenoblade after the DLC for 3.

if it's a Xenoblade 4 I expect a XC3 situation of it's a direct sequel BUT with less direct references to the previous games. Something like (Spoilers for XC 2, 3 and Future Redeemed ahead) you're on this new unified earth, decades or even centuries after 3/FR, and there's a unified kingdom of Earth, and you see a document or flashback about "Second King Milton, Son of Rex and the Legendary Aegis Mythra" for instance. something like this. and then the DLC would have more fan service stuff like that.

But to me X DE is next, it's basically done, and this recruitment post is for a X II (and not X2)

All I have to say is I cannot WAIT to play the next 2 games (basically done with 1 with the level I’m at…final boss is just a formality)

I think we will also get a xenosaga trilogy remaster or remake. Xenosaga is canon now they need to let more people play Xenosaga because Xenoblade 4 will probably use Xenosaga character and plot lines for the story.


Side note I have never played Xenosaga I only know that Xenosaga is canon because I have watched a lot of videos about Xenoblade 3 Future Redeemed's lore so I don't want any Spoilers please

Pretty much back in the 90s when Xeno gears and Xeno saga, the creators of the series created a guide about making six games, that exist in the same universe at different time periods with Xeno gears .

And the current games might be different, but it’s the same plan just bigger. They already created the main six games. Also, the radio broadcast made it perfectly clear, there same universe and the cameos and dozens of hints.

Pretty much this is the timeline I think they’re gonna make :

Xenoblade 1-3(2000s -4000s
Xenoblade/Saga 4(????)

Xeno Saga 1-3(4000s-10, 000s)

Xeno Gears(4000s-10, 000) pretty much the start of Xeno gears a spaceship that came from earth that was mentioning the radio broadcast went to the edge of the galaxy.

And the exact date and time as the start of Xeno Saga 1 happens exactly at the same time. even the same dating system.

And Xenoblade X (4 1/2 billion years) at the start of the game the narrator said it was 4 1/2 billion years on earth 2.0 which is a different earth with two moons. Because I didn’t notice it the first time.

Meaning it is a different earth like planet. Because in the Xeno saga1-3 galaxy federation colonize 500, 000 planets, which was back in the 4000s.

And a Samar federation controls multiple galaxies meaning their descendants of humans that evolved into Xenos after billions of years.

But they’re the events of Xeno saga 3 the ark of Abel(a giant planet size Gnosis ) destroyed about half of the universe. killing trillions of humanity leaving behind billions of humans.

My theory is after that event most of the humans got separated for billions of years and forgotten their history of the other humans and evolved into Xenos.

The ganglion which is a splinter group of the Sammar Federation, might’ve came from the original Earth /Mira which was renamed.

Since it was 4 billion years ago, most of the Xenos have forgotten they came from earth and the galaxy federation

The Ganglion our descendants of Xenoblade 2 Characters/people because they mention the great one who is the architect that made their kind which is a reference, and some of the aliens like the cat like aliens could really related to the Gormatti and the other races from the original earth.

I do expect Xenoblade Chronicles X to get some kind of rerelease next year; and it could be cross platform and/or a game that gets a patch update on Switch 2 but also on Switch with an expanded story similar to Torna, Future Connected, or Future Redeemed. I can see Xenoblade Chronicles 4 or something being release a year or 2 after that.

I honestly would love to see an MMO of this kind of gameplay on the switch, maybe as a side Xenoblade Chronicles game, but keep the gameplay close to the first, I consider the first more fun and my ideal RPG gameplay of that can work for an MMO, and it's not as out there or too many options computer screen like stuff, ether way.

I really hope they change the combat system. I liked the previous ones, but I'm also fond of the idea of being able to move freely and engage in fast-paced action combat. I'd like to have both turn-based and action combat options in my video games. Indeed, I believe this is the new trend that all games should focus on, giving priority to incorporating both features..
