I think some of you people need to stop looking for reasons to dislike Chrome. It's not for everyone but it certainly has it's place. There are MANY people who will buy an expensive computer when all they want to do is go on the internet and check email. I myself am an IT professional doing some extra reading up on this and I've decided to see if a Chromebook will work for me. I use Google apps and love the ecosystem and given what my needs are, I think I can definitely make a go of it. Before complaining about something, some of you need to just try it out with an open mind. At least then your opinion might be worth something.

Wow, this really comes a long way from some of the original builds. I love how it's not just one window and there's actually a desktop. (Even though originally they bragged how there was no desktop, just the web)

I think that chrome is one of the best systems out there and they should really invest in their own office documents. They have a lot more potential than Microsoft ever did and I am extremely impressed at what they have accomplished so far. I'm proud of you Chrome and good luck to the future of your development. :)

Get Cub Linux, it's Chrome OS + everything that is cutoff by making the original cloud based.

Chrome OS would be good for my mom, grandma and brother. People that don't do much with their computers.

I need to be able to use software. Even most cross platform software wouldn't work on a chromebook.

Pretty good device for non-power users though. Probably good for the majority of people out there.

when you first get a chromebook you should be able to use Android or Chrome OS
