if there's one thing I am never doing, its leaving my chromebook at home when I go on holiday, my last one was stolen from me and I still haven't got it back, but now I have the fabulous lenovo chromebook s340-14 which is a lot better in turms of sound quality, and feels a lot nicer to type on, I feel people underestimate chromebooks too many times, but that's because they've tried chrome OS flex or they've heard they're just browsers in a box, but I don't know where I would be without my chromebook, unlike my other devices it has a keyboard I can actually use

Okay, I just got a Chromebook. And I bought it for three reasons. It does 2 of them, but I can't figure out how to do the 3rd thing they way I want it to. I want it to run a slideshow of my photographs. But I do NOT want to upload them to the cloud. I know it has no memory, I thought it would do it from the USB stick. So far, I have not been able to make that happen. Does anyone know how to do it? I'm getting a bit frustrated by it. 😡

Thank you for the Restart button. I have mine connected to my TV with a wireless keyboard, and to reboot I used to have to Shutdown, then reach into the TV cabinet to open the Chromebook lid, the wait for it to boot before closing it. Your new Restart feature has eliminated this whole process. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

The video Says you login using your gmail account.. what if your are not connected to the internet can you still use your chromeBook? who do you login to your laptop if your offline?
