A Quick Guide to Alva in Path of Exile

If you've got master missions piling up it's time to stop procrastinating.

Alva along with the other Masters offers a lot of value. You can often sell temple chronicles for over 1 exalt. People like to double corrupt Mageblood and Headhunter, Doryani's Institute for gems, and you can get Transcendent jewels, or more from the vials.

don't forget the shrine of empowerment room. another easy way to get tier 3 rooms if you understand how it works. If you can only get shrine of empowerment to tier 1, make sure you connect it to the valuable rooms if you have it available. This netted so much more consistent tier 3 double corrupts and haven't really seen anyone talk about it.

I'm a pretty suboptimal Poe player and I use Alva to make bank every league, just aim for gem room and corruption room. Sell 1 room for 1ex and a double room map for 1.5x. pretty much. Sometimes I double corrupt certain gems like anomalous arc going for the big dick lv21 Vaal anomalous

I had a T3 corruption chamber in the levelling temple and could not reach it due to the early overtuned rares. I didn't bother with Alva for the rest of the league. That'll teach her.

Sanctum of Immortality is another decent loser prize room you can get for temples. There a small chance of it dropping a mask of the spirit drinker and a rf chest rare.

Definetly thumbs up and maybe subscription if we get comprehensive guides for alva/jun. Syndicate manipulation getting isling fastest/easyest and which atlas passives seems a bit difficult to me atleast

This league, you need that node that gets you an incursion item from the map event too. I tried to smash them to make good stuff, and I did manage to make some 2ex items, but I also could have sold them for 10c each and not spent the recombinators also.

This won't be the case for the future though

Never been much of a fan of the sacrifice rooms, it's usually too much hassle to buy the vials and items while not having that significant gain. Rooms I feel are worth mentioning are nexus, currency, maps and poison garden. Nexus just upgrades all rooms adjacant to it by 1 tier and increases the itemlevel of drops by 1, this makes getting tier 3 rooms much easier and also has the small side benefit of making it easy to get high level bases(assuming you did at least 1 tier 16 alva mission).

Currency and map are pretty self explanatory, although map one the strongest part is actually how it makes all the architects drop map currency. Poison just adds a ton of monsters, I am not sure exactly how good it is I quite like it. Others worth mentioning are the ones that just increase pack size or the tempests. Torment also can potentially be good, and legion is also alright value. Breach is shit though.

The worst ones are generally the weapon/jewelry/armour as well as the ones that mainly are just for getting a specific unique such as minion, fire or trap, they can have potential early on if certain uniques are desired(trap gloves for example) but generally not very high prio.
