If you get an error from ZBrush saying that something was not found/missing - Make sure you drag BOTH the folder (MiddleButton) AND (MiddleButton1_6_4R7) into your ZPlug64 file -

Link to the Middle-Button Plugin can be found here:
Also, if the plugin doesn't work, you may have to download a different version depending your year of ZBrush: A full repo of the different Plugins can be found here:

For those of you wondering about whether a mouse is a viable option in ZBrush or not, I can only speak from my experience, but as someone who couldn't afford a nice touch screen monitor or a stylus, I've had a very good experience with just my mouse for over a year now. If you have 'lazy-mouse' turned on, then you can get super concise strokes with a basic mouse.

So, would a Stylus be better? Yes, probably. Are you screwed if you only have a mouse, no you'll be fine - Just turn on 'lazy-mouse' and enjoy your work :)

It's absolutely insane how much of a barrier it can be when one has to get used to different camera controls - Blender, Unity, ZBrush, etc. Excellent start to the series.

Legit, the only reason I didn't want to go back to Zbrush was it's controls. This solves everything and am excited for this series!

Single handedly the best tip I've seen in zbrush since I started trying to learn it. Thank you!

I like how the first tutorial in the how to go from blender to zbrush series is basically just make zbrush blender.

It's exactly what I needed. I have years of experience in blender, also some commercial experience. But I had no idea how much I was wasting my time getting tired of advanced sculpting just in blender. Thank you very much!

Great video as always!
Just wanna throw this in here;
Ive used Zbrush for abt 7 years now, and as i can understand how its nice to change it to what youre used to, i just have to mention;
its also really nice to use zbrushes default once youre used to it.
Since your hand most of the time rests on the keyboard in zbrush anyway, their default buttonlayout makes a whole lotta sense.
As a zbrush and blender artist, i use blenders navigation in blender and zbrushes navigation in zbrush, and its smooth af.
Dont blame yah if you wanna change it up but here are the zbrush defaults for those who wants to try it out.
ALT LMB to pan
CTRL LMB to zoom,
and LMB alone to rotate.

You can also RMB outside of your model to rotate that way, and ALT RMB outside the model to pan

I also really recommend any new users of zbrush to use some sort of drawing tablet. Hotkey one of the buttons on the pen to LMB and youre good to go.

An alternative to those who wants to try out the default <3
Happy zbrushing

You are by far my favorite blender YouTuber because of how you cut through the BS and get to the point. Always gonna get a like from me.
Edit: autocorrect corrected*

thank you so much for this, I use both sculpting in Belinder and refining in Zbrush, it is a nightmare but with this it will make the workflow much easier... very much apricated.

You are nothing short of a god. I swear this is the 5th or 6th time I've had some very specific question about blender, unreal, or zbrush for my workflow and well wouldn't you know there's a video that somehow manages to exactly solve my issue in just a few minutes. Thank you for all of the quality work that you do!

Well, that should make my leap back into z-brush go a lot smoother. Off to a great start.

Omg this is This feels like the start of a new superb series for transitioning from blender to zbrush... omg, awesome!!

I don't use zbrush, nor am I sure if I'll ever need to... But man, solving the relearning controls and UI issue makes pivoting to it infinitely easier if I were to use it. I think these workflow transition and streamlining "tutorials" might be some of your best stuff. Like the MMO mouse for all it's short cuts... Probably *did* tripled my effectiveness.

That's so cool. One of the biggest reasons I wanted to stick to Blender (other than I have no money) is that I didn't want to spend x time getting used to new controls. Problem solved.
