Love this sort of content man, perfect for the season. I used to read SK novels in high school but haven't really touched one since. Will most likely just watch Dead Zone and Pet Sematary.

I only watch this channel for awkward remarks about weird fictional stories written by borderline psychotic mega nerds, so this was in line with what I've come to expect. Also, I had no idea King wrote a book about Apollo's channel in the 70s.

I'm surprised that the final dark tower book in the top ten list I really enjoyed the book the ending totally shocked me

great list! i would recommend 11/22/63 if you haven't read that, one of my favs!

dead zone concept was one of my favorites and of course the question; would you kill hitler if you could go back in time and do it? but man... actually reading and getting through that book was SUCH a drag. Not enjoyable at all. So it's a difficult one for me to rate

honestly i thought wizard and glass was a slog to get through...
romantic westerns are just not my thing
and i couldn't get attached to roland's previous companions and susan ( goddamn it...was she boring to read) as well
the final showdown with jonas felt extremely anticlimatic
the first and last 100 pages were great though (especially the riddle contest with blayne)

I hope that the wolves of calla will be a return to form

I've been reading Stephen King my whole life and personally I think you have some minor books of his in your top 10 and missing some absolutely essentials, my top 10 would be in descending order:

Needful Things
Bag of bones
The Dark Tower series
The Stand
IT
Salem's Lot
The shining
Tommy knockers
Misery
Sleeping Beauties

If you haven't read Needful Things read it immediately. For me Doctor Sleep, Cell, Revival, Under the Dome and the Mr Mercedes trilogy would come next.
