Iam Peruvian Chinese from Lima, Peru. My mother is Peruvian and my dad is Egyptian Chinese. My Chinese ancestors came to Lima Peru in the early 1800s. Long story short, most of the fried rice, chufa, the lomo Saltado and other delicious meals were created by the Chinese mixed with Peruvian ingredients creating new cuisines. The Japanese people end up in Lima, Peru later in the 1899 also introducing their own cuisines.
I was lucky to learn how to cook at a very early age by both my Grandmas and my mom from both cultures. The fun part is that I never get bored of cooking every day different cuisines from both cultures.
Especifically, the city of Lima, Peru has an exquisite unique cuisine that is mixed with a diversity of different cultures from Asia, African, European, and middle Easter. If you also travel the whole Peru from the mountains through the jungle, each region has thousands of different delicious dishes to try and it's endless. I am glad you like our dishes.
