Hard To Reach Bee Removal

Honey bees in nature are cavity nesters. On rare occasions I'll get a call to remove an open air beehive that can sometimes be dangerous. I almost never pass up the opportunity to do so because open air beehives are thrilling!

Anyone else feel a little jealous that every time they encounter a single bee they get stung, but people like this can literally scoop up hundreds of bees at a time and be like “aww so gentle”.

I have seen many beekeepers be so gentle, but I have never seen one being so loving! ♥ It's in your handling, but also in your words.

Your short about that huge nest you took out of a floor unveiled just landed in my feed today, so I immediately came looking for real content. (I consider shorts to be not real content, rather just a lure or a preview.) I'd love to see more actual content. (also, videos are better monetized than shorts on youtube.)

Fab video, just had your channel suggested through shorts and i really enjoy these slightly longer videos. I appreciate they're a lot more work to put together, but they're wonderful to watch. We have a few hives at work on our roof and I've been to see them, but I don't beekeep (those volunteer roles are popular!) but I remain very interested with everything.

I've seen one, but it was very old and abandoned. The bees had started inside an old log but built the hive up and out of the entrance and around the outside of the log. The bees were long gone, but you could see some leftover comb and where it had been attached. It was really cool.

I lived in Largo 5 years ago but moved back to Louisiana unfortunately. I love Florida. It's a great place to keep bees. I was a member of Pinellas Beekeepers while there. Keep bringing those videos!

This is fascinating to me 🤔 I get defensive when I see one bee 🐝 but you’re so calm and kind and slow moving and they don’t bother you at all 😍 . I’m glad you showed the queen and pointed out the differences between her and her workers because I’ve watched a couple of your videos before this one and you were talking about the queen but I couldn’t see the difference .
