Visited Europe over the summer. Wasn't sure what to expect in Turkey (visited Istanbul and Kusadasi) but I was overwhelmed. Istanbul was a vibrant, bustling city. The contrasts of modern and old were amazing. Looking forward to returning soon

Sad that its was turned into a Mosque, and that the original art was plastered over. They should have left it the way it was because that is a valuable piece of history.

 As an Eastern Christian i hope one day in the future the Turkish nation (not the the turkish politicians) to allow us to pray in Hagia Sofia, even for only one time, only one time.
I respect the love of Turks for Hagia Sofia because it worked as a Mosch for centuries after the fall of Constantinople, i just hope one day Turks will respect that it is ''a pain in the soul'' for an Eastern Christian to watch Hagia Sofia, the only Cathedral Church of Eastern Christianity  and not allowed to pray inside.
It is like, not to allow to Western Christians to pray inside Saint Paul, a Turk inside Blue Mosch,
