D5 is very cost effective, the subscription is a lot less than Lumion and the assets are amazing.

As long time Lumion User, D5 will blow it out of the water. Considering how new it is and the cost and what it offers is going to take over. Especially AI stuff they incorporate.

D5 is great if you have your own model library (max and vray). In that case it's free.

i start with Vray, then Lumion and now D5, no doubt D5 can handle almost every scenario and i am happy that it is Free with good UI design

Iv been on D5 since its Beta beginings where everything was in chinese only. I just finished my university and i was looking for cheap/free soft for my renders. And D5 poped up. It was horrible at 1st, but as my master teacher always told. It was pregnant, and its worth investing time into it, to see what it will look like when it gets birth

D5 architecture requires a very high sophisticated laptop. So many lappies that can run Lumion, can't run D5 render. I think is a big setback for them. As people might not be able to high specs lappy.

I like D5, but Lumion is better for now. I see lots of comments about price. Remove the pricing issue and Lumion is way better... for now. D5 is catching up fast. When it does, Ill go full D5. For now, Lumion is better.
