Choas Vantage is pure Raytracing. The two other Rendere are not. I'm heavily focused on textures and the quality and accuracy of colors in Vantage is amazing. I completely switched from Corona to Vantage. just amazing...

Vantage definitely gives the best result, but there's a strange flickering that ruins it, plus the fact it takes 10 times longer is ridiculous and makes it impractical.

Vantage with ver 2.0 is taking the lead for sure. But for money, D5 is crazy for what it can do.

This is a poor comparison because you show an example from Vantage that has flickering in it, thus skewing people's opinions from the start. Fix that flickering > replace the Chaos Vantage footage > re-upload this video, because I cannot take this comparison seriously, otherwise.

What is the Moral of the Stroy while editing this video? Means all software is best until you know how to work on it

I don't quite understand why, but I still do better using lumion for large scale and high poly scenes, it runs smoother.... for small and medium scale models I do prefer to work with D5 render.

we try to animate a moving box in d5 render and it took too long, so we use Lumion instead, how come d5 render is too fast we tested it, thats why we bought Lumion

I'm using Chaos Vantage and it's way better than D5 for animation, no flickering for 250 samples 4K all render elements are separated for 15sec per frame on 3090RTX and chaos vantage 2 is amazing, Ur comparison is NOT Ok. Rendering animation from 3DS Max in vantage has so many advantages over any other render. Not that fast maybe but we are talking about Vray. If I need to pay I will go for Chaos. Animated camera in 3DS Max translated in Vantage is great, I can even render from 3DS Max directly in Vantage. And have PBR materials and great volumetric light. So for pro work Chaos and Vray Vantage is my choice.

This videos are always unfair. The time spent on each of this scenes are different, and usually in favor of one.
Like why stone pallets behind the bed and floor has reflections on vantage and not D5? Why D5 lights are glowing so hard? Why light bulbs are invisible? Why the Vantage one has better exposure?

Hey, don’t get me wrong, I know vantage has adVANTAGEs, specially on raytracing and overall quality, you don’t have to reduce quality on D5 to show that.

IMO D5 is better. It’s easier to use, render time is 12x faster and the overall quality is 10-15% less.

Btw, You can increase sharpness by increasing render quality from 1080p to 2k or 4k. It’s still faster, and the output is better. D5 doesn’t have official noise reduction, but higher the quality, lower the noise would be.
