THIS RIG CATCHES SO MANY FISH! Using Fishing Bait as a Lure

We are using our famous fishing bait, Squidy Bits as a lure today! Learn how to use cut bait as a fishing lure. With this "long line" fishing rig, you are able to get small baits/lures down deep! The blue fish were feeding at our spot today. A soft plastic jig would have been ripped to shreds. I found a lot of these toothy critters down deep, the only way to hit them, is to throw something heavy and small. This fishing rig is perfect. Watch and learn friends!

I grew up in South MD. Pax river NATC. and St. Mary’s river. Cherryfield point. Jax Fl. St. John VI. Where we caught 70 lb yellow fin tuna, Mahi and yahoo. I Lived on Fish. I also get up to Ely MN on Burntside lake once or twice a year for walleye and small mouth bass. I really enjoy your videos. Keep them coming. Your lucky that you have such an awesome dad. Awesome idea. I made some salted squid and mackerel strips for my friends and I to use and we have really good luck tipping lures with strips as trailers. Really adds appeal, especially once they soak with a bit of water and soften up.

How do you stop the beads from sliding up/down your line? Do you tie knots as bead stoppers?

When we lived in Delaware we at your spot many times. We used frozen mullet with mullet Riggs! Worked well in the surf at high tide!
