Do you know anywhere I could get the “Cable Termination, (Machine End)” in america?

I recently brought the cable termination from amazon & attached it to the cable wire of my gym machine by tightening the 3 screws with Allen key. When I was doing the exercise and lifting a weight of just 60 kg, the pvc cover of the cable wire (inside the cable termination to which the 3 screws were tightened) tore & the wire came out of the connector with a thud. I was lucky not the get injured. Do you think I should ripped out the pvc coating over the wires (the part of the wire which goes inside the termination) & then insert it in the termination & then screw it tight?
