Welcome to this week's Excel Quickie! Here, I'll show you 3 different ways to view a unique list of values from a list that contains duplicate values.

The three tips I'll show you here in this tutorial allow you to quickly and simply view a list of unique values without having to delete any duplicate values or prune the original list of data in Excel.

This data analysis trick allows you to quickly break down a list or data set so that you can more easily make decisions based off of that data, copy the data to another worksheet, or just generally work with the unique list of data; this includes being able to get a new, separate, unique list of values without having to apply a filter to the original list of values.

Nice alternative to copying a duplicate set of data to another location and then doing Remove Duplicates to the copy. Advanced Filter is rich and powerful. Thanks for showing this feature. Thumbs up!
