Thank you! I didn't know why my belly button was irritated and painful until I felt the edge of the inside button which was extremely sharp! I was going to try to sew a patch over it and then decided to check YouTube. Now I will just remove and replace with a sewn on button on ALL my Lee jeans. Thank you again!

Hi! Do you have any tips for if the button came out of the hole. I can pop the button back into the hole but it pops back out. I'm not sure what the best way would be to reinforce the hole

I have a related but very specific question. I want to make a set of buttons for a pair of jeans I am having made to measure. I want to make the buttons out of silver. I'm a bench jeweler so forming the metal isn't a problem, but I don't know what winds up holding the front and back together. You mention a plastic part. Is that located in the shaft in the front piece? My initial thought to just make silver fronts compatible with standard backs. Any guidance you can provide would be most welcome.
