do we know when this version of Onenote is coming out?

It would help if you would identify the version of ON that you are displaying. I watch your videos and try to match with what I'm seeing on my device(s) and I do not see what you are displaying. Office updates (I have a subscription to MSFT 365 which is up to date) and I am told that "You're Up To Date". Same with my Android device. I have even activated the Coming Soon Opportunity but I still am not seeing anything that looks like your displays. I am a long time user of ON and appreciate that the powers that be decided to continue ON for Desktop and incorporate OneNote for Windows functionalities so we only have one version. And BTW WTH is Modern UI - are you talking about the combined version?

I wish you had made it clearer that these are COMING ATTRACTIONS. I spent way too much time trying to find functions that don't yet exist in the version of OneNote for Windows 10 that's on my computer.

I don’t have folders across the top like your version. Why are there different OneNote versions? I checked and mine is the latest version downloaded.

I subscribed to the OfficeInsider program using the account my Office 365 is licensed to. After checking for updates it said, I'm up to date. Nothing happened to my office products, they are still the same. How can I get the preview build?

I advise adding tags to pages so that we can find and filter pages by tags

Great that new features are being added. For me the most frustrating thing is that double-click and drag does not work the same as other Office products. Double-click and drag should select whole words.

Amazing! I love the inking features in OneNote, but I miss a good integration with 120hz screens on my Surface Pro 8! I'm happy to see that you've updated the inking experience.

Nice, I was waiting for the simplified menu bar, as the full ribbon takes to much space and the other variants are not as functional. Also the writing experience in ON for Win was waaay better for me until now, so hopefully that will change in ON Desktop now. BUT: How to get the app update? How long will it take until this is fully rolled out?
So, thanks and keep it up. There are a lot of things to improve to make this really usefull software even better.

7:00 Imagine if shapes ord drawings could be used as a mindmap - so you could add annotations to the shape. Or you could use a shape to write inside or along.

Thank you for that great video on the new features coming to OneNote. As much as I see everyone touting that you can put pages on the left along with notebooks as per the web version. Can you please show or confirm that even with these new updates and while OneNote is being updated over time, that you can still keep the pages on the right side. Having the pages on the right and the notebooks on the left and the tabs on the top is the classic layout and for me very very important for my daily use of OneNote Desktop. I hope that even as updates come through they will still allow for that classic layout as for anything else becomes a dealbreaker for me. Thank you.
