Edit: You need to do one more setting: After running the OS, go to File @ topleft > Preferences > Display from the left panel. Set maximum guest screen size to None. There you go! You can adjust the host OS window size and the guest OS resolution will follow, you don't need to set resolution every time @ guest OS. Or choose Hint and enter resolution manually for a fixed resolution.

This will not work on older Operating systems like Windows me, windows 2000, Windows 98, windows 95 and windows 3.1
