In this video tutorial transient cavitation simulation has been demonstrated. In previous video tutorial, cavitation through orifice by using mixture multiphase model has been explained.

Volume of fluid multiphase model has been selected to capture cavitation bubble formation. Bubble break-up and its formation inside nozzle has been captured by using Sharp interface option. The advancement of bubble is tracked with considering transient simulation. The k-w SST turbulent model is used in present demonstration. Total simulation has been run for 30 microsecond of flow time and animation file is created for more clarity about cavitation phenomena.

You should first add diesel liquid and vapor fuel properties through Fluent database.
Than only it's reflected in drop-down box of Multiphase model.

Thank you for your efforts to show this simulation. I had a question regarding the Timestep selection for transient simulations. Did you calculate using the CFL number to get the appropriate time step size? Thanks.

In the shown animation at the end of the video, Why does the bubbles volume increase downstream whereas the pressure increases and their volume should decrease and collapse as you mentioned?
